Vicarious - version une

An artistic dance concept piece, grounded in the real life experience of L.A. based artist and musician M.I.A., to bring people together, to tell a collective story, to find respect, understanding and forgiveness.

VICARIOUS pays homage to artists who in their work questioned authorities and who made the pain of the common people visible. It draws on the paintings of Kollwitz, Oppenheimer, Goya, Picasso who all voiced their observations and used their craft to inform and move people.
